TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY THEY SHOULD GO.... .

Policy Campaigns

Advocating for laws and policies that protect and empower our youth.

Why Policy Matters

Real, lasting change for our youth requires more than programs — it requires systemic reform. The Westry Mouton Project is committed to advocating for policies and legislation that hold communities accountable for the well-being of every child.

Parental Accountability Act

Our flagship policy initiative, the Parental Accountability Act, seeks to establish clear legal standards for parental responsibility — addressing abandonment, neglect, and irresponsible parenting that leads to preventable harm or death.

We believe that every child has the right to a safe, nurturing home environment. When parents or guardians fail to provide that, the law must have the tools to intervene and protect.

We are actively working with state legislators to build support for this critical piece of legislation and invite community members, advocates, and elected officials to join us in this effort.
